2026-2027 School Year
We have several 5th-grade parents who will be leaving Marblehead and need to fill both their roles and a few other open positions!
📢 Communications Chair/Committee - Send newsletters, reminder texts, update the website, and manage social media accounts.
🍽️ Dine Out Chair - Set up monthly Dine Outs at local restaurants.
📖 Parliamentarian - Update bylaws as needed, ensure we are in compliance with PTA rules.
💰Treasurer - The Chief Financial Officer of our PTA prepares the budget, monthly reports, pays bills, tracks income, files taxes, and performs other financial tasks.
🐬 Vice President - Assists the President with board tasks, often chairs a committee, and steps in when the President is absent.

School Survey Due 2/15
As Mrs. Goodwyn plans for the 2026-2027 school year, it is important for her to know whether any of our families plan to attend a different school or move before the start of the new school year in August. If you haven’t done so already, please complete the survey below before February 15 to let her know of any plans at this time. If your plans change at any time, please inform the front office or Mrs. Goodwyn so they can properly place your child for the next school year.

Did you hear the good news? Mrs. Heard, our 4th/5th teacher, was named CUSD’s Elementary School Teacher of the Year! She will be honored at the District Awards Ceremony in March!
Calendar Update
The calendar we distributed at the beginning of the year had the wrong dates on it for Parent-Teacher Conferences.
They will be on March 2 - 5th and will follow the extra early out schedule, NOT February 2-5th as previously published.
We are sorry for the typo. Thanks for your patience! Look for new printed calendars coming home in Friday folders this week!

Calling Future Dolphins
The CUSD School of Choice Enrollment Period is open through February 1, 2026, for the 2026-2027 school year and applies to our fully in-person program.
Flex and Virtual Students have extended deadlines and are accepting enrollment for our current school year through April 1st and for the 2026-2027 school year on an ongoing basis.
